(Not really) But they made Jam Yesterday. Strawberry Freezer Jam. What I thought was great about this accomplishment....
- They did it all on their own (besides the buying of the supplies)
- Maddie learned this skill from someone other than me. Her Farmor taught her last summer. I love it when my children can learn good things from outside influences, especially a loving grandparent.
- They enjoyed working together as sisters.....(unfortunately that does not always happen, so it was so sweet to see)
- The Jam is going to be delicious......

So, did they clean up all by themselves too? That seems to be the only problem after someone makes something yummy at my house. They think they're done before it's all cleaned up. What's with that anyway? You should see my window sill right now. We have more than 20 tomatoes from my very own garden covering it. Maybe some homemade salsa is in order. What do you think?
