Ticket to Ride

We got a new game for Christmas called "Ticket to Ride". I love this game. It is so fun and has many elements that I like in a game.

• The whole family can play (5 players). It works well for all levels
• There is enough luck involved to make you believe that you are never out of the game.
• There is enough skill involved to make you always want to improve your game play.
  
• It is not cut throat and you do not have to block people or be mean to win.

You should check it out. It is a great family game.

The Biggest Looser

So I’ve Been Thinking about …..

I Love "The Biggest Looser". Call it an evil justification but I do feel there are few shows on nowadays that are very uplifting. These shows make me feel good and make me want to try and improve. I am a succor for reality T.V..

The Biggest Looser makes me cry each week for how well these people are doing and how they are changing their lives. I also cry each time I watch Extreme Make Over.

O.K. I’ve also been know to cry at commercials so I guess I am really not getting too much out of these shows

Scrap Book Weekend

I had such a fun weekend. I was able to get away from the normal, thanks to a loving and overwhelmed husband that filled in for both of us. (School Carnival, Dance Practice, Vision Therapy, Birthday Party, at least nobody had to speak in church)

I went on a scrap book retreat. I was invited by my good friend to join a group of her good friends that do this every year. The name of the place was Heritage Place. It was a home about 2 hrs North of the cities that was made specifically for Scrap Booking weekends....(What a great idea, why didn't I think of that....) I came home with 2/3 of my Disney book done and 8 new friends made. It was a great weekend. I will try and post some of my favorite pages.

"Just Another day in Paridise"

Ok what I really mean is another day in the sick House. Kate stayed home today throwing up. She is such a funny stomach sick person. When she has a fever she stays right down and is relatively mellow, but when she throws up, she screams at top volume.."I HATE BEING SICK.....WHY ME.....WATER, WATER,.....So this is somewhat funny, unless it is wakes you up from a deep sleep at 2:00 in the morning. Oh Kate, gotta love her.

I would not describe my kids as sickly at all. In fact I would say we are some what healthy family. But if I look at my calender, I think it has been since the second week of January that all three kids went to school all five days......CRAZY. We have spring break next week and I declare no more sick days until next winter....(do you think it will work, I will let you know)

Sledding

These are some pictures I took of the girls Sledding at a friends house the other day. The funniest part was when I had to get on a sled to get to the bottom of the hill to take the pictures. I had no idea that there was a jump between the hill and where you slide out onto the lake. Good thing I had a good grip on the camera.
